Troy Girls Golf Advances to MHSAA State Finals The Troy Colts girls golf team is headed to the MHSAA State Finals after a strong performance at Regionals. The team came together with consistent scores across the lineup, earning their spot among Michigan’s best. Senior Krisha Saparia led the way for the Colts, shooting an impressive 86, followed closely by Kate Bestul with an 87 and Evalyn Devisch carding an 88. Rounding out the scoring were Sophie Zhao (98) and Madison Lan (105). Their steady play secured Troy’s place among the top teams in the region. Head Coach Garrett Lovas praised the team’s focus and determination. “This group has worked incredibly hard all season,” the coach said. “They’ve stayed composed under pressure and continue to improve every round.” The Colts will now prepare for the MHSAA Division 1 State Finals, where they’ll compete against Michigan’s top programs.
