ON MONDAY May 4th during the halftime of the Girls Lacrosse game winter teams will be honored. Winter Sports Honors RECAP Wrestling Four Colts earned their way to the MHSAA State Finals with outstanding postseason performances: • Dax Fegley – State Qualifier at 157 lbs • Carter Sanchez-Puebla – State Qualifier at 175 lbs • Selah Houston – State Qualifier at 215 lbs • Lenyjah Houston – State Qualifier at 155 lbs (2nd girl in program history to qualify for the MHSAA State Finals) Congratulations to Dax Fegley and Lenyjah Houston on earning 5th-place finishes at the MHSAA Wrestling State Finals. This is an outstanding accomplishment and a tremendous representation of Troy High. Hockey Congratulations to Boys Hockey United on an outstanding season, finishing with a 25–3 overall record and capturing the OAA White Division Championship with an undefeated 8–0 league record. Boys Basketball The Colts finished the season 9–15 overall and 3–7 in OAA play, showing strong growth and resilience throughout the year. Congratulations to Erin Choi, Maria Gonzalez, Anna Holt, and Lydia Orlik on their All-State performances, including three individual honors and one routine selection. Boys Swimming & Diving The Colts captured the OAA Red Division Championship and completed an undefeated league season. The season was defined by exceptional culture, leadership, and competitive excellence. Team captains Ben Bricker, Lucas Fernandes, Eric Zhou, and Larson Custer helped lead a program built on accountability and support. Season Highlights: • OAA Red Division Champions • Undefeated in league competition • 20+ athletes qualified for Oakland County Championships • 37 of 39 athletes earned OAA Scholar-Athlete recognition • 9 athletes qualified for the MHSAA Division 1 Championships • 6 All-State performances • 6th-place finish at the MHSAA Division 1 Finals • 5 school records and 3 pool records broken • Ben Bricker earned All-American Honors • 7 seniors earned MISCA Academic All-State recognition • NISCA Gold Academic Award Coaching Honors: • OAA Red Division Coach of the Year • MISCA Zone 2 Coach of the Year Boys & Girls Bowling The Colts had a competitive bowling season highlighted by strong individual performances and the continued growth of the program. Girls Bowling The girls team finished with a 5–8 overall record and was led by senior Peytyn Herron, who capped off a stellar career. Season Highlights: • Peytyn Herron led qualifying at the OAA Singles Meet and finished 3rd overall • Peytyn Herron earned All-Tournament Team honors at the Doran Doubles Tournament • Peytyn Herron and Sofia Romero finished 3rd at Doran Doubles • Peytyn Herron earned First Team All-Conference honors • The girls team finished 3rd at Regionals, narrowly missing a return trip to the State Finals • Ryley Heider finished 8th individually at Regionals, missing State qualification by just five pins • Peytyn Herron finished 9th individually at Regionals Boys Bowling The boys team entered the season with a young roster after graduating six seniors from last year’s team. Season Highlights: • Joey Lindholm led the team throughout the season • Joey Lindholm placed 5th at the OAA Singles Meet • Joey Lindholm rolled a 300 game at the Oakland County Meet and finished runner-up with a 717 series • The team featured 15 first-year bowlers • Final overall record: 1–13–1 The future is bright for this young and developing group of Colts bowlers.
