Troy High went 2‑0 against Southfield Arts & Technology, winning games 9‑2 and 7‑5, powered by timely hitting, strong pitching, and solid defense. In the 9‑2 win, Troy jumped out early and never looked back, scoring multiple runs in the first and second innings before breaking the game open with a four‑run fourth. Bultynck tripled in two runs, and Seestedt added an inside‑the‑park home run to drive in two. Seestedt went 2‑for‑3 with 2 RBIs, while Bultynck and King also had two hits each. Herron earned the win in the circle, allowing one run over six innings with six strikeouts, and Troy played error‑free defense. In the 7‑5 win, Troy showed resilience, answering Southfield’s early scoring and regaining the lead in the third inning. King and Bultynck delivered key hits, while RBIs came from Higginbotham, Harris, Bultynck, King, and Corley. Bultynck led the offense again, finishing 2‑for‑3. Sobotka pitched five innings, giving up no earned runs, and Troy closed the game to secure the victory. The Colts are 7-3 on the season and play Saturday at 10am and 12p at Troy vs. Foley!
