Troy High Softball Offensive Explosion Leads to 20-Run Performance

Troy High put together a dominant offensive showing, scoring 20 runs on 15 hits in a high-energy road victory. The offense set the tone early and never let up, combining patience at the plate with aggressive base running. Troy opened the scoring in the first inning when Seestedt doubled to drive in a run. The lineup broke things open in the third, plating five runs behind timely hits and disciplined at-bats. Higginbotham worked a bases-loaded walk, while Kehl, Sobotka, and King each delivered RBI singles. The biggest inning came in the fifth, when Troy erupted for eight runs. Corley and Goldberger each ripped two-run doubles, Bultynck added an RBI walk, and Troy capitalized on defensive miscues to extend the lead. In the circle, Sobotka got the start, striking out seven over 4.2 innings. Harris was lights-out in relief, tossing 2.1 scoreless innings, allowing just one hit while striking out four to close the door.
